VEDIC JUNIOR COLLEGE is looking for LAWN TENNIS COACH to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. Player Development : Assess the skill levels and abilities of players, including beginners, intermediate, and advanced level athletes. Develop personalized training plans and strategies to help players improve their tennis skills, footwork, agility, and overall game performance. Instruction and Demonstration : Teach proper tennis techniques, including grip, stance, stroke mechanics, footwork, serve, volley, groundstrokes, and strategies for singles and doubles play. Demonstrate proper techniques and provide verbal instructions to help players understand and execute tennis fundamentals effectively. Physical Conditioning : Design and implement fitness and conditioning programs tailored to the specific needs and goals of tennis players. Focus on building strength, endurance, speed, flexibility, and agility through drills, exercises, and cross- training activities. Match Strategy and Tactics : Educate players on match strategies, tactics, and mental aspects of tennis competition. Help players develop situational awareness, decision- making skills, and effective game plans to adapt to different opponents and playing conditions. Skill Development : Conduct drills, practice sessions, and simulated match play scenarios to reinforce technical skills, improve shot accuracy, and develop consistency in strokes. Provide constructive feedback, corrections, and encouragement to motivate players and foster skill progression. Video Analysis : Use video analysis tools and technology to record and analyze player performances during practice sessions and matches. Review footage to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement. Provide visual feedback and recommendations for technique refinement and strategy adjustment. Tournament Preparation : Prepare players for competitive tournaments, leagues, and matches by simulating match scenarios, developing pre- match routines, and discussing mental preparation strategies. Provide guidance on match scheduling, warm- up routines, and post- match recovery techniques. Player Mentoring and Support : Serve as a mentor, role model, and source of inspiration for players, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. Provide emotional support, motivation, and encouragement to help players overcome challenges, setbacks, and performance anxiety.
