Job Summary

The Laser Technician will be responsible for expertly operating various advanced aesthetic laser and energy-based devices to perform a range of cosmetic treatments, all while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and education regarding pre- and post-procedure care. This role works closely with our Surgeons and Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Treatment & Procedure Expertise

• Perform a wide range of advanced aesthetic treatments using clinical lasers and energy-based devices, including but not limited to:
• Hair Removal (Diode, Nd:YAG, Alexandrite)
• Skin Rejuvenation
• Laser Resurfacing (Fractional, Ablative/Non-Ablative)
• Body Contouring (e.g., Ultrasound, Radiofrequency devices)
• Skin Tightening treatments

• Conduct thorough patient consultations to assess suitability, discuss treatment plans, set realistic expectations, and address concerns.
• Develop and customize treatment protocols specific to individual patient needs and skin types.
• Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols, clinical standards, and hygiene procedures.

Patient Care & Consultation

• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-treatment instructions and skincare recommendations.
• Ensure a positive, professional, and therapeutic patient experience from check-in to departure.
• Document all treatments, patient responses, and progress accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

Equipment & Compliance

• Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment regularly, reporting any malfunctions immediately.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices through continuing education.
• Assist the clinical team with minor room setup and preparation as needed.Required

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of [2-3 years] of hands-on experience operating a variety of FDA-cleared aesthetic laser and energy-based devices.
• Knowledge: In-depth understanding of skin histology, Fitzpatrick skin typing, laser physics, and contraindications for aesthetic treatments.
• Communication: Excellent verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
