Laser Machine Operator

Board Function We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Machine Operator to set up, program, operate, and maintain laser machines used in precision cutting, engraving, or marking. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with laser equipment, a strong understanding of safety protocols, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Roles & Responsibilities Set up and prepare laser machines for daily operations. Program laser cutting or engraving machines according to job specifications. Operate machines to perform tasks such as cutting, engraving, marking, or etching on various materials (e.g., metal, plastic, wood). Monitor machine performance and production quality; make adjustments as needed. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on laser machines to ensure optimal performance. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and design specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and job orders. Follow safety procedures and wear proper protective equipment. Troubleshoot machine errors and collaborate with maintenance or engineering teams as needed. Maintain production logs and documentation as required. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus. 1–3 years of experience operating laser machines in a manufacturing or production environment. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints. Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail. Knowledge of safety standards related to laser operations and industrial equipment.
