As a member of the AUX India Fluid System Engineering team, you will be responsible for preparing steady state and dynamic simulation models and conducting detailed analysis for Power plant Systems and Equipment. The role will be based in Gurgaon, India, within the challenging technical environment of the AUX Fluid Systems department. While the majority of tasks will be focused on Engineering, there will also be opportunities for site support. Your new role will be both challenging and future-oriented. Key responsibilities include: - Preparation of 1-D flow models in AFT Arrow and AFT Fathom for steady state simulation of Gas Turbine auxiliary systems - Conducting Transient simulation and Surge Analysis for liquid and gas systems using software like AFT Impulse and AFT Xstream - Reviewing modeling and analysis completed by fellow engineers - Validating and testing simulation models with actual site data - Presenting analysis results clearly to stakeholders - Participating in status meetings and discussions with various Project Stakeholders To excel in this role, we are looking for individuals with the following qualifications and attributes: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - 5 to 10 years of relevant engineering work experience - Experience in Engineering simulations for Power plant processes/systems - Proficiency in software such as AFT Arrow, Fathom, Impulse, xStream, Pipenet, FluidFlow, etc. - Knowledge of CFD (Ansys Fluent/ StarCCM+) is advantageous - Strong collaboration skills to work effectively in a global team - Flexibility in taking on new tasks and responsibilities - Excellent communication and English language skills - Dedication to the product and a proactive attitude towards ownership - Understanding of the interplay between quality, costs, and delivery time This role is based in Gurgaon, with opportunities to travel to other locations in India and beyond.
