As a member of the AUX India Fluid System Engineering team, you will be responsible for preparing steady state and dynamic simulation models and conducting detailed analysis for Power plant Systems and Equipment. The role will be based in Gurgaon, India, within the challenging technical environment of the AUX Fluid Systems department. While the majority of tasks will be focused on Engineering, there will also be opportunities for site support. Your new role will be both challenging and future-oriented. Key responsibilities include: - Preparation of 1-D flow models in AFT Arrow and AFT Fathom for steady state simulation of Gas Turbine auxiliary systems - Conducting Transient simulation and Surge Analysis for liquid and gas systems using software like AFT Impulse and AFT Xstream - Reviewing modeling and analysis completed by fellow engineers - Validating and testing simulation models with actual site data - Presenting analysis results clearly to stakeholders - Participating in status meetings and discussions with various Project Stakeholders To excel in this role, we are looking for individuals with the following qualifications and attributes: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field - 5 to 10 years of relevant engineering work experience - Experience in Engineering simulations for Power plant processes/systems - Proficiency in software such as AFT Arrow, Fathom, Impulse, xStream, Pipenet, FluidFlow, etc. - Knowledge of CFD (Ansys Fluent/ StarCCM+) is advantageous - Strong collaboration skills to work effectively in a global team - Flexibility in taking on new tasks and responsibilities - Excellent communication and English language skills - Dedication to the product and a proactive attitude towards ownership - Understanding of the interplay between quality, costs, and delivery time This role is based in Gurgaon, with opportunities to travel to other locations in India and beyond. Job Requirements Process Engineer in Oil & Gas domain with upstream or refinery experience. Involved in process calculations for cross country pipelines, Root cause analysis, Simulation studies , multiphase flow, and well head operations during normal, emergency, start-up & shutdown. Prepare and review PFD, P&ID , Heat and Mass Balance calculations, multiphase and surge calculations, hydraulic and pressure drop calculations Preparation of process parameters in pipeline datasheets Experience of risk studies and Brainstorming on Process units involving consequences and safeguards based on the nature of Risk and associated response systems. Preparation and review of Process datasheets of equipment such as Separators, Heat exchangers, sizing of PSVs and Control Valves. Procedures for Testing and commissioning of pipelines including Hydrostatic test, Pneumatic test, chemical cleaning and their method statements. Requirements and Types of Insulation and associated process calculations Participated in MOC studies and recommendations Pressure Surge Analysis using SPS pipeline hydraulic simulator SPS surge studies for a single flow control device SPS surge studies for a multiple flow control device using Model lab simulations. SPS simulation data extraction and processing SPS overpressure mitigation studies Pipeline Maximum Operating Discharge Pressure (MODP), Pressure Derate, RV Sizing, and Hydrostatic test calcs. Run MODP Calculations based on pipe design and hydrotest info using PA Tool for each pipeline segment. Provide Psafe calculations for MODP Derate, gather pressure data from Control Centers for derate calculations. Gather field data for RV sizing, determine the overpressure scenario, identify fluid type and properties at relieving condition, set pressure and overpressure allowance, determine the actual orifice size, calculate the required relief rate. Determine Hydrostatic test pressure for pipeline replacement projects. Work Experience Chemical engineering or equivalent degree is required. 12-20 years’ experience with upstream / refining domain and cross country pipelines background is required. Good understanding of process unit operations and process calculations, including, fluid flow principles, and reaction principles, is a plus. Working experience with HYSYS and HTRI is an advantage Must have good technical communication skills. This includes ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with unit engineers to understand their issues and problems and communicate solutions.

Job Description: Piping Stress Engineer Location: Mumbai and Vadodara Experience: 5 to 10 years Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Piping Stress Engineer to join our team and contribute to the successful execution of projects in hydrocarbon, chemical, and process plants. The candidate will be responsible for stress analysis, support design, and ensuring compliance with industry codes and standards while independently managing small to medium projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop stress design basis , including load cases, critical line lists, and calculations for wind and seismic conditions. Conduct piping stress analysis for critical lines associated with static and rotary equipment. Design piping supports and prepare procurement-related documents, including material requisitions (MRs) and bid evaluations. Prepare cost and manhour estimates and support business development activities. Apply knowledge of plant design codes, such as ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, and ASME Sec VIII , as well as equipment design codes. Perform analysis for specialized piping systems, including jacketed piping, buried piping, pipelines, and non-metallic piping. Execute advanced dynamic analyses, such as vibration, slug, or two-phase flow analysis. Lead small to medium-sized projects independently, coordinating with internal teams and clients. Manage and guide the stress engineering team while effectively communicating with clients. Key Skills Required: Proficiency in Piping and Pipeline Stress Analysis using tools like CAESAR II and Navisworks for 3D model reviews. In-depth understanding of ASME/API codes and standards for piping and equipment design. Expertise in pipe rack design, support standards, and development of special supports. Skilled in SIF calculation for non-standard fittings and stress analysis of high-temperature and high-pressure piping systems. Strong knowledge of expansion bellows, spring supports, and their applications. Hands-on experience in vibration-related analysis, pulsation analysis, and surge analysis (preferred).
