A Laravel developer s key responsibility is to create and manage unique and current online applications utilizing the latest web development technologies. You would also be responsible to make and test reusable and efficient PHP modules and construct safe modular code.

A Laravel developer is responsible for developing and managing databases and performing backend and UI testing on apps to enhance speed. They also interact and work with other developers inside the organization to meet data-collecting needs.

Responsibilities

Create and implement Web-based products using PHP, MySQL, Ajax, and JavaScript
Performing development, integration, test, and documentation duties of the work, to ensure transparency in the work, and completion of tickets to be worked on for the Sprint Goal
Write unit tests, perform peer code reviews, design reviews with the team, and determine test plans.
Work cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications.

Qualifications

3+ years of PHP development experience, and is current with Best Practices.
3+ years of experience with at least one PHP Framework (i.e.: Laravel, Codeigniter, Zend, Symfony, Yii, etc.)
2+ years of experience with MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, & CSS
6-12 months of experience with a JavaScript Framework is a plus(i.e.: Angular.Js, Angular, Vue.js, React, etc.)
Experience with using Version Control Software (i.e.: Git, Mercurial, Subversion, CVS, etc.)
Experience with building, and consuming Web Services (GraphML, REST, XML Feeds, SOAP, etc.).
