Landscape Architect – Design Development

Responsibilities:

• Develop landscape designs using AutoCAD, hand sketches, and other design tools.
• Produce high-quality presentation drawings, planting plans, and conceptual design packages.
• Translate client requirements and site constraints into innovative and practical design solutions.
• Conduct initial design consultations as well as follow-up meetings with clients to refine project direction.
• Present design concepts and revisions confidently and professionally.
• Perform site visits to assess topography, existing conditions, and gather accurate measurements.
• Prepare detailed design proposals and support revisions as required.
• Demonstrate an understanding of material costs, labor estimates, and construction schedules.
• Oversee project implementation to ensure design intent is executed accurately and efficiently.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Landscape Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in high-end residential landscape design.
• 2–4 years of proven experience managing design and installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of local plant materials, hardscape products, and construction techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate design ideas and collaborate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Technical proficiency in AutoCAD, spatial design, and core design principles; strong freehand drawing and rendering skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative approach to addressing design challenges.
• Familiarity with permitting processes and local regulatory codes.
• Experience in irrigation system design and installation (preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
