Role Summary

We are looking for a responsible and patient-friendly Phlebotomist to perform blood sample collection at the diagnostic center as well as at patient homes, ensuring accuracy, safety, and high standards of hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all age groups.
• Collect samples at the diagnostic center (stationary duty) and at patient homes as per schedules.
• Ensure correct patient identification, labeling, and sample handling.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and infection control protocols.
• Transport samples safely to the laboratory within stipulated timelines.
• Maintain sample integrity and cold chain where applicable.
• Handle patients politely and explain procedures clearly to ensure comfort.
• Maintain daily collection logs and documentation.
• Coordinate with the lab, reception, and logistics teams.
• Adhere to NABL/ISO quality and safety guidelines.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Good venipuncture skills with minimal patient discomfort.
• Knowledge of sample types, tubes, and basic lab requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and patient-centric attitude.
• Ability to work independently in field/home collection.
• Basic knowledge of mobile apps/LIS is an advantage.

Additional Requirements

• Willingness to travel locally for home sample collection.
• Two-wheeler with valid driving license (preferred for home collection).
• Flexible to work in shifts, early mornings, weekends, and holidays if required.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a diagnostic center or hospital setup.
• Exposure to high-volume sample collection.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
