Lab Technician - Pharmacy

As a Lab Technician in Pharmacy, your role involves setting up and maintaining laboratory equipment for experiments and practical sessions. This includes calibrating and troubleshooting instruments like balances, spectrometers, and pH meters. Your responsibility also includes keeping the laboratory environment clean, organized, and safe. You will monitor and manage inventory of pharmaceutical chemicals, reagents, and other materials, as well as order and receive laboratory supplies while ensuring proper storage and labeling. Record-keeping of supplies, disposal of expired materials, and providing technical assistance to students and faculty during lab sessions are crucial aspects of your job. Additionally, you will assist students in preparing for experiments by explaining laboratory tasks and procedures. Qualifications required for this role include: - B. Sc or M. Sc in Bio Technology, Micro Biology, or Botany - D. Pharm Prior experience in a pharmacy or academic laboratory setting is highly preferred for this position.
