Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Perform flow cytometry analysis on patient samples to diagnose and monitor various medical conditions.
Conduct quality control checks on instruments, reagents, and data to ensure accuracy and reliability of results.
Maintain accurate records of test results, including data entry into electronic systems.
Collaborate with pathologists, laboratory technicians, and other healthcare professionals to resolve issues related to sample processing and interpretation.
Participate in continuous professional development to stay updated on new techniques, protocols, and technologies in haematology.

Desired Candidate Profile

6-10 years of experience as a Lab Technician (Flow Cytometry) or equivalent role.
Diploma or DMLT degree from an accredited institution.
Strong knowledge of flow cytometry principles, instrumentation (e.g., Beckman Coulter), software applications (e.g., CellQuest).
Experience working with Haematology department preferred; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
