Lab Technician

Laboratory Testing: - Conduct diagnostic tests following established procedures and safety protocols. - Operate laboratory equipment proficiently, including analyzers, microscopes, and centrifuges. - Perform quality control checks to ensure the accuracy and precision of test results. Analysis and Reporting: - Analyze test results meticulously, record findings accurately, and interpret data. - Document and maintain comprehensive records of all tests conducted and results obtained. - Report findings promptly to supervisory personnel for further review or action. Equipment Maintenance and Calibration: - Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure proper functioning. - Calibrate and troubleshoot equipment promptly or report issues to the appropriate personnel. - Maintain inventory of reagents, supplies, and equipment to ensure adequate stock levels. Quality Assurance and Compliance: - Adhere strictly to quality control and quality assurance procedures following regulatory guidelines. - Participate in proficiency testing programs to validate laboratory procedures and maintain accuracy. - Assist in implementing quality improvement initiatives to enhance laboratory operations. Safety and Hygiene: - Maintain a clean and sterile laboratory environment following safety protocols at all times. - Dispose of biohazardous materials and waste in accordance with established procedures. - Adhere to infection control measures and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
