Lab Technician

As a Lab Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting daily laboratory operations with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail. Your responsibilities will include conducting experiments, collecting and analyzing data, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Working under the guidance of senior scientists or lab managers, you will adhere to strict protocols and procedures to guarantee precise results. Your key responsibilities will involve preparing, labeling, and analyzing samples using scientific techniques, as well as maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment. It will be essential to accurately record, organize, and report data, while strictly following safety procedures and health regulations. Additionally, you will be involved in documenting test results and lab reports, as well as managing the inventory of lab supplies and reagents. To excel in this role, you should possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field. Knowledge of laboratory best practices and safety guidelines is crucial, along with good analytical, organizational, and communication skills. The work environment for this position will primarily be in a laboratory or medical/clinical setting, with potential exposure to biological samples and chemicals.
