Lab Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lab Assistant to support our quality control and product development activities in the Incense Sticks and Cosmetics manufacturing units. The ideal candidate will assist in laboratory testing, sampling, formulation trials, and ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in sample preparation, testing, and analysis of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished goods (incense sticks, dhoop, perfumes, creams, lotions, etc.)
• Conduct basic physical, chemical, and sensory tests as per standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain accurate records of test results and observations in lab registers or software systems
• Support R&D team in formulation development and product trials for new incense and cosmetic products
• Prepare reagents, measure ingredients, and carry out blending or small-scale mixing as required
• Assist in ensuring that products meet company quality standards, specifications, and legal requirements
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of lab equipment, glassware, and workstations
• Calibrate lab instruments regularly and report any faults or inconsistencies
• Follow all health, safety, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) guidelines within the laboratory and production areas
• Coordinate with production and packaging departments for quality-related issues

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical Science, or related field
• 0–2 years of lab experience, preferably in FMCG, incense, fragrance, or cosmetic industry
• Basic understanding of lab techniques, quality standards, and safety procedures
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work with minimal supervision
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with MS Office and basic lab software (optional but preferred)

• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced production environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Vishwakarma Industrial Area, Jaipur, Rajasthan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

• Laboratory techniques: 1 year (Preferred)
