Lab Technician

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our Skin and Hair Clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests related to skin and hair conditions, managing lab samples, operating relevant equipment, and supporting the clinical team in delivering effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect and process skin, scalp, and hair samples for diagnostic testing.
• Perform microscopy, culture tests, and other dermatological investigations.
• Assist dermatologists and trichologists with pre- and post-procedure lab support.
• Maintain and calibrate lab instruments used in skin and hair diagnostics.
• Prepare and label slides, specimens, and reagents accurately.
• Ensure all test results are recorded and reported in a timely and accurate manner.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure confidentiality of patient records.
• Monitor and manage inventory of lab supplies and order when needed.
• Ensure the lab complies with quality control standards and clinic protocols.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a dermatology, cosmetic, or trichology clinic is preferred.
• Knowledge of skin and hair-related lab tests and procedures.
• Good communication skills and patient-friendly attitude.
• Proficiency in using lab information systems (LIS) and report management tools.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Working Conditions:

• Clinical environment with exposure to biological samples and lab chemicals.
• May involve working on weekends or extended hours depending on clinic schedule.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
