Lab Supervisor

As a Sr. Lab Technician based in Bhubaneshwar with over 8 years of experience, your responsibilities will include: - Performing internal quality control procedures and daily QC checks in accordance with lab policies - Maintaining quality documentation as per the defined procedures - Conducting preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory instruments and equipment - Providing training to Medical Technologists/Medical Lab Technicians on automated instruments and inhouse standard operating procedures - Maintaining laboratory raw data and computer database - Compiling and monitoring quality indicators - Performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for complaints and issues, and documenting resolutions - Monitoring and ensuring compliance with biomedical waste management procedures - Reporting critical values and obtaining read back confirmations - Conducting daily testing of samples, data entry, verification, and interpretation - Managing storage and discarding of samples according to retention period - Periodically reviewing reference range variations - Managing outsourced samples testing - Performing LIS transition checks and verification bugs - Troubleshooting equipment and reagent problems - Coordinating with equipment engineers for issue resolution - Adhering to Turnaround Time (TAT) standards and publishing monthly Management Information System (MIS) reports - Conducting inter-instrument comparisons and clinical correlation of reports - Validating and verifying new tests or kits - Managing reagent or kit stock maintenance, indent, and issue - Performing microscopic examinations and entering patient data into the accession register - Preparing duty rosters for lab personnel - Costing for intra-lab tests in coordination with Head Office delegates - Ensuring compliance with accreditation guidelines, ISO 15189, NABL 112, and other relevant policies - Providing support during the launch of new Labs or relevant Setups You are encouraged to apply with a detailed CV, mentioning the post applied for in the subject line.,
