Role Overview: As a Lab Assistant in our school, you will be responsible for supporting the smooth functioning of the laboratory in a school environment. Your main duties will include maintaining laboratory safety procedures, handling students with patience, and ensuring discipline in the lab. Additionally, you will be required to be organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in upholding lab standards. Your good command of English and computer literacy will also be beneficial for maintaining digital records. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain laboratory safety procedures - Handle students with patience and maintain discipline in the lab - Be organized, attentive to detail, and proactive in maintaining lab standards - Utilize computer literacy for maintaining digital records - Ensure smooth functioning of the laboratory in a school environment Qualifications & Skills: - Minimum Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) or Diploma in Laboratory Technology - 4-5 years of experience working as a Lab Assistant in a CBSE or similar school environment - Good command of spoken and written English - Strong knowledge of laboratory safety procedures - Ability to handle students with patience and maintain discipline in the lab - Organized, attentive to detail, and proactive in maintaining lab standards - Computer literacy for maintaining digital records is an added advantage Please note: Candidates working in medical labs/hospitals are requested not to apply, as this is a school vacancy.
