L3 Network Engineer

As a Senior Network Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale enterprise networks. Your expertise in switching, routing, and firewall technologies will be essential for troubleshooting complex network issues in high-availability and security-focused environments. Key Responsibilities: - Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-grade network infrastructures. - Manage and optimize Layer 2 & Layer 3 switching technologies including VLAN, STP, VxLAN. - Configure and troubleshoot advanced routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and MPLS. - Administer and secure firewalls including Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, and Fortinet platforms. - Lead root-cause analysis, network monitoring, and performance tuning. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and secure network solutions. - Ensure network uptime, redundancy, and disaster recovery readiness. - Prepare technical documentation, network diagrams, and SOPs. - Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical reviews. Qualifications Required: - 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering. - Strong expertise in switching, routing, and firewall technologies. - Proven ability to design and support large, secure, and high-availability network infrastructures. - Deep troubleshooting and packet-level analysis experience. - Certifications: CCNP / CCIE (or equivalent) mandatory. In addition to the required qualifications, it would be nice to have experience with SD-WAN solutions, next-gen network automation, network monitoring tools (such as SolarWinds, PRTG, etc.), and cloud networking (AWS/Azure/GCP). Please note that this is a Contractual / Temporary position with a contract length of 12 months. The work location is in person.
