Role Overview: You will be joining Alliant Cybersecurity as an experienced Level 2 analyst in Hyderabad to support the expansion of the Cybersecurity and Risk Advisory practice. Your primary responsibility will involve assisting US-based customers and necessitates flexibility to work during US business hours. Key Responsibilities: - Lead in-depth investigations of escalated L1 incidents - Analyze data from various security tools and sources - Provide support during crisis management to the incident handler and SOC Level 3 analysts - Generate reports and visualizations of security attacks - Fine-tune Use Cases and create new ones - Monitor trends for metrics and reporting - Decrease false positives and maintain the detection rules database - Trend and correlate monitored events to establish new Indicators of Compromise (IOC) and attack attribution - Engage with customers in recurring meetings as the technical point of contact - Offer recommendations or workarounds to reduce business impact - Drive continuous service improvement initiatives - Mentor L1 analysts and work independently on complex analyses - Maintain process/procedure documentation and support during incidents - Coordinate with ISMS core team for implementation strategies Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline - Professional security certifications are a plus (CISSP preferred) What we offer: You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth of the organization.
