Role Overview: As an L2 DLP Analyst at our company located in Airoli, you will be responsible for advanced monitoring, analysis, and response to data loss prevention incidents. Your role will involve investigating and responding to complex DLP incidents, fine-tuning DLP policies, collaborating with various teams, and mentoring L1 analysts to ensure the protection of sensitive data. You will play a crucial role in leading remediation efforts, optimizing DLP tools, providing training and mentorship, preparing detailed reports, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Investigate and respond to complex DLP incidents escalated by L1 analysts. - Perform in-depth analysis of DLP alerts to determine the root cause and impact of potential data loss events. - Lead remediation efforts by coordinating with IT, legal, and compliance teams. - Assist in creating, implementing, and refining DLP policies and rules based on emerging threats. - Maintain and optimize DLP tools and technologies to ensure effectiveness. - Provide guidance and mentorship to L1 DLP analysts to help develop their skills. - Prepare detailed reports on DLP incidents, trends, and system performance. - Act as a liaison between security team and other departments for coordinated response to incidents. - Participate in training sessions to stay updated on DLP technologies and best practices. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field. - Experience with DLP tools such as Ghangor DLP or GTTB. - Basic understanding of data protection principles and regulatory requirements. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. - Attention to detail and proactive approach to incident management. - Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) are a plus.
