L1/L2 Support Engineer

As a Database Administrator in our team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and performance of our database systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating closely with application support teams to debug and troubleshoot issues at the backend level. - Performing regular database maintenance activities such as backups, patching, and performance tuning. - Ensuring high availability and resilience of database clusters by monitoring clustering mechanisms and failover systems. - Participating in root cause analysis and proactively addressing recurring database issues. - Adhering to ITIL processes for Incident, Problem, and Change Management, ensuring timely resolution and documentation. - Maintaining database-related documentation including configurations, standard operating procedures, and troubleshooting guides. - Ensuring compliance with data security and operational standards. Qualifications required for this role: - Proficiency in Aerospike DB and strong SQL skills. - Experience in Database Clustering and Resilience. - ITIL Skills, especially in Incident, Problem, and Change Management. - Willingness to provide L1/L2 level support for database systems with a focus on Aerospike and SQL-based environments. - Ability to work in rotational shifts to provide 24/7 support coverage.,
