Role & responsibilities Recruitment & Manpower Management Undertake recruitment activities for all blue-collared labor for flowing the recruitment Policy. Manage recruitment process for the WORKERS in the plant by coordinating with various stakeholders. Ensure the timely availability/substitution of Production Manpower as per the sanctioned strength. Provide inputs and assist HR team (SPOC) to recruit unit roles such as Incharge, supervisors etc., as and when the need arises. Ensure no machine stoppage due to shortage of Manpower Monitor the Overtime within budget & ensure required approvals. Employee Grievances Resolution of employee grievances by discussing the issues with concerned stakeholders. Ensure prompt, timely and accurate communication of the resolution to the concerned. Manage issues related to contract labor at the unit as per the policies and compliances. Track and document employment issues and requests, for procedural and statutory purposes. Compliances, Social Audit & Other Maintain Documents as required by various labor laws up to date including contractors and their timely Contract Management. UAN Registration & ESIC registration for new Joinees. Maintaining the Records & Documents as per requirement. Managing all audits and statutory compliances e.g. Internal/ ISO/ Customer or any Govt Agencies. Timely Submitting Employment Exchange Maintenance of Apprentice Related Record Submitting Accident Reports in ESIC ESIC number of New Joiners within specified limit Conducting the Meeting & Functioning of the following committee. Works Committee. Housekeeping Committee. Health & Safety Committee. Canteen Committee. Workers Fortnightly Meeting. Contract Management Ensure manpower planning process and communicating the need to the designated Contractors to ensure timely availability of contract workforce. Cross-checking of contractual workers' monthly wage/salary bills & relating to all payment bills. Ensure the Compliance to Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act . Maintaining the required soft copy of the registers / documents of the contract labours for a required period. Ensure legal statutory compliances for Contract workforce through follow up with the contractors as per terms & Condition of Contract. Recruitment of Contract labour workforce through the designated contractors. Ensure the availability of the Contract with all designated & Service Providers & renewal form time to time. Support Function Prepare annual plan for the HR function at the unit by identifying key initiatives, cultural events, costs, projected manpower numbers etc. in collaboration with the Head HR & Admin; Oversee adherence to the unit budget throughout the year Maintain updated unit organization chart and job descriptions by talking to various employees to understand as-is structure and changes in accountabilities, if any Ensure timely processing of payroll through effective attendance and leave management systems at the unit Oversee provision of quality support services such as housekeeping and upkeep of premises, front desk, cafeteria facility, etc for all staff Ascertain safe and congenial working environment for all employees by taking guidelines from the governing policies to avoid industrial accidents Provide inputs & support for the Performance Management Centralized HR team by devising innovative and relevant non-monetary recognition initiatives.
