Kubernetes Security Engineer

About Position:

We are seeking kubernetes security engineer with hands on experience in kyverno, security kubernetes, etc.,

What You'll Do:

• Design, implement, and maintain secure cloud architectures on GCP.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate cloud deployments.
• Monitor and analyse security events in SOC operations, responding to incidents and threats in real time.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM policies, encryption, network security, and compliance controls.
• Integrate cloud-native security tools such as AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty, GCP Security Command Center.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans to identify and remediate risks.
• Supported a 24/7 production environment to maintain service continuity and reliability.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in GCP/AWS cloud.
• Strong expertise in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment, including security monitoring, incident response, and threat analysis.
• Proficiency in cloud security frameworks, compliance standards and IAM policies.
• Knowledge of security tools such as SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability management solutions.
• Security certifications such as AWS Certified Security Specialty, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, CISSP, CEH, or CISM are a plus.
