Salary – Rs. 25,000 per month Location: Kolkata (West Bengal) Department: Equity Trading / Broking Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Equity Dealer to join. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing equity trades on behalf of clients, ensuring regulatory compliance, building strong client relationships, and maintaining high service standards. Key Responsibilities: Execute buy/sell orders on behalf of clients through the trading terminal (NSE/BSE). Monitor market trends, provide real-time market information, and offer investment suggestions to clients. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Ensure prompt resolution of client queries regarding trades, demat, or portfolio. Adhere to compliance and risk management guidelines set by SEBI and the brokerage house. Assist in achieving branch and individual revenue and client acquisition targets. Maintain trade logs, confirmations, and ensure all operational checks before order execution. Coordinate with research teams to relay stock recommendations and market strategies to clients. Update clients on corporate actions like dividends, stock splits, rights issues, etc. Required Qualifications: Graduate in Commerce/Finance or related field (B.Com). NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) certification is mandatory. NISM Series VII (Securities Operations and Risk Management) is a plus. Skills and Competencies: Strong understanding of equity markets, trading platforms (NSE NOW, ODIN, BSE BOLT, etc.). Excellent communication and client-handling skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet trading deadlines. Sound knowledge of SEBI regulations and KYC norms. Proficient in MS Excel, market software, and brokerage CRM tools. Experience: 1-5 years of relevant experience as an Equity Dealer or in a similar role in a brokerage firm or financial institution.
