Due to growing interest, we launched the Varanasi Guru website to provide more resources for explorers, travelers, and residents. Our team, comprising experts in Varanasi history, culture, and traditions, provides engaging content and offers guided tours and workshops. We are committed to promoting responsible and sustainable tourism to support local businesses and preserve the city's heritage. We aim to educate and inspire others about Varanasi’s rich history and spiritual significance. Role Description This is a part-time on-site role located in Varanasi for a Korean Speaking Guide. The guide will be responsible for conducting guided tours in Korean, sharing historical, cultural, and spiritual knowledge about Varanasi with visitors. Daily tasks include coordinating with the tour team, assisting in planning and organizing tours, ensuring an excellent visitor experience, and promoting responsible and sustainable tourism practices. Qualifications Fluency in Korean and English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus Strong knowledge of Varanasi’s history, culture, and traditions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience in guiding or tour management Ability to engage and entertain diverse groups of visitors Strong organizational and time management skills Passion for promoting responsible and sustainable tourism Flexibility to work part-time and adapt to varying schedules Show more Show less
