Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Ecommerce Marketing Manager based in Mumbai. The Ecommerce Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies for our online store, managing e-commerce sales, analyzing market trends, and overseeing project management tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the sales team, recognizing new market opportunities, and ensuring that marketing initiatives align with business objectives. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in eCommerce, and continuously innovate and optimize processes to stay competitive. 13. Budgeting and Financial Management: Develop and manage the eCommerce budget, allocate resources effectively, and track financial performance against targets. 14. Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, IT, finance, and supply chain to align eCommerce initiatives with broader organizational strategies and goals. 15. Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges related to eCommerce operations, such as cybersecurity threats, supply chain disruptions, or changes in market dynamics, and develop mitigation strategies. Key Responsibilities 1. Training Needs Analysis (TNA) & Capability Mapping Partner with business leaders to identify skill gaps across retail, merchandising, design, manufacturing, supply chain, and corporate functions. Conduct structured TNA using surveys, interviews, observations, and performance data. Develop a Skills & Competency Matrix tailored to the fashion industry for role-based training design. 2. Training Design & Development Create role-specific training modules for: Store Teams: Customer engagement, styling tips, upselling, product care, VM guidelines. Design & Merchandising: Trend forecasting, seasonal collection planning, fabric/material knowledge. Production & Quality: Garment construction, quality control, compliance. Corporate Staff: Communication, project management, compliance awareness. Develop brand & product knowledge training for each seasonal launch, including look books and storytelling modules. Use blended learning methods: classroom sessions, on-the-job training, e-learning, simulations, and role plays. Design visually appealing, brand-aligned training aids. 3. Training Delivery Facilitate in-person and virtual sessions across multiple locations. Conduct Train-the-Trainer programs for store managers and supervisors. Host seasonal workshops for store teams to align with new trends and collection themes. 4. Talent Development & Career Growth Implement Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for high-potential talent. Launch leadership development pathways for retail supervisors, store managers, and emerging leaders. Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring for career progression. 5. Learning Technology & Digital Training Maintain and update the Learning Management System (LMS) with schedules, content, and tracking tools. Develop bite-sized video learning and microlearning modules for quick, on-demand access. Incorporate gamification and interactive tools to enhance engagement. 6. Monitoring & Evaluation Track training participation, completion rates, and retention through post-training assessments. Apply the Kirkpatrick Model or similar framework to measure ROI. Submit quarterly reports to leadership highlighting training effectiveness and business impact. 7. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with Marketing to align training with seasonal campaigns. Collaborate with VM & Retail Operations to ensure visual and operational standards are trained and maintained. Qualifications & Experience Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Fashion Management, Retail Management, HR, or related field. Experience: 5–8 years of L&D experience in fashion, apparel retail, or luxury retail. Proven expertise in retail fashion training and product knowledge programs . Strong facilitation, storytelling, and presentation skills. Understanding of fashion trends, customer behavior, and seasonal product cycles. Proficient in MS Office, e-learning tools, and training content creation software. Availability: 6-day work week, with willingness to travel across India as required. 1. Debtors Management Monitor and track accounts receivable on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Ensure timely follow-up with customers for outstanding payments as per agreed credit terms. Maintain and update debtor ageing reports; identify overdue accounts and escalate as necessary. Coordinate with the sales and operations teams to resolve disputes or billing discrepancies. 2. Credit Control Assist in setting and reviewing credit limits for customers in consultation with Head of Finance. Ensure adherence to the company’s credit policy to reduce bad debts and payment delays. Recommend blocking or unblocking of customer accounts based on payment history and risk assessment. 3. Reconciliation & Reporting Perform regular reconciliation of customer accounts and resolve variances. Prepare debtor status reports, DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) analysis, and collection forecasts. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer ledger records in the ERP/accounting system.

Support merchandising and buying decisions by providing relevant sell-through and trend analyses. Oversee product, inventory, and lifecycle management from launch, through markdowns, to clearance. Identify aging stock and dead stock and recommend strategies for liquidation. Participate in monthly stock-takes, reconciliations, and discrepancies resolving.
