KNX Programmer

Role Overview: You will be primarily responsible for traveling to job sites to commission and program control systems, audio/visual equipment, networking, security & access control systems. Your specific responsibilities will include developing & implementing control system designs, conducting system testing, designing custom graphical user interfaces, setting up and configuring audio visual equipment, configuring IP addressable devices, commissioning and programming security & access control systems, coordinating with vendors/manufacturers, clients, and coworkers, and performing other duties as assigned by management. Key Responsibilities: - Develop & implement control system designs based on project requirements. - Conduct system testing and provide detailed instructions to clients. - Design custom graphical user interface (GUI) on touch panels. - Test control interfaces to ensure project goals are met. - Setup, configure, and program Audio Visual Equipment for optimum performance. - Configure IP addressable devices such as routers, switches, servers, firewalls. - Monitor performance and ensure system availability and reliability. - Commission and program CCTV Cameras, Access Control Systems, Audio Video Intercom, Intrusion Alarm systems & Entrance Automation. - Participate in Manufacturer Training and Certifications. - Coordinate with Manufacturer Support team for Installation/commissioning related queries. - Complete training programs as required and maintain a professional attitude while delivering excellent customer service. - Coordinate with Project Manager and Design & Project Management Team to deliver project goals. - Instruct hardware installation and provide support to technicians and service engineers. - Perform other duties as required by management. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's Degree in a technical subject, or equivalent and related work experience. - Knowledge of networking fundamentals such as TCP/IP, addressing, firewalls, routers, network.
