Kitchen Staff

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation:

• Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, cutting, chopping, and measuring ingredients.
• Prepare and portion simple food items, salads, or desserts as instructed.
• Properly store and label food ingredients and leftovers to prevent spoilage

Cleaning and Sanitation:

• Wash, clean, and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all food preparation areas, counters, stovetops, ovens, and storage areas.
• Perform routine and deep cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping floors, and cleaning trash containers.

Kitchen Operations Support:

• Assist with the unloading of food and supply deliveries and ensure proper storage (e.g., in storerooms, refrigerators, or freezers).
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to the supervisor or manager.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and procedures.

Teamwork:

• Communicate effectively with the rest of the kitchen team (chefs, cooks, dishwashers) to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Report any damaged, faulty, or non-working equipment to a supervisor immediately.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is often preferred, but not always required.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
• Physical Ability: Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
• Skills & Attributes:

Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Ability to follow instructions and recipes accurately.Excellent teamwork and communication skills.Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Flexibility to work various shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
