Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and energetic Kitchen Helper to support our café team. This role goes beyond the kitchen—you’ll assist with food prep, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, and interact with guests to ensure they have a warm and welcoming experience. Key ResponsibilitiesKitchen Support: Assist chefs with basic food preparation (washing, chopping, plating). Stock and organize ingredients and supplies. Ensure utensils, dishes, and cooking equipment are clean and ready to use. Cleaning & Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, café floor, and guest areas. Follow hygiene and safety guidelines for food handling. Dispose of waste and keep storage areas tidy. Guest Relationships: Greet guests with a friendly and helpful attitude. Assist with serving food/drinks and clearing tables. Address basic guest queries and escalate feedback/concerns to the manager. RequirementsPrior experience in a kitchen, café, or hospitality role is a plus (but not mandatory). Strong sense of cleanliness, hygiene, and responsibility. Good communication and people skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and take initiative.
