Description
Role Overview: You will be responsible for the overall administration, academic leadership, and operational management of the center. Your role will involve guiding teachers, ensuring curriculum delivery, maintaining discipline, and creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young learners. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee the effective implementation of the Kindergarten curriculum, including Literacy, Numeracy, EVS, and Co-curricular subjects. - Plan, review, and monitor lesson plans, teaching methodologies, and classroom activities. - Coordinate with the Curriculum & Research Department for updates, supplementary notebooks, and assessments. - Ensure holistic development of children through activity-based and experiential learning. Staff Supervision & Training: - Supervise KG teachers, assistants, and support staff to ensure adherence to school policies and standards. - Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback. - Identify training needs and coordinate regular teacher capacity-building workshops. - Maintain staff schedules (teaching, substitution, stay-back duty, etc.). Student Development & Safety: - Monitor student progress and ensure proper record-keeping of academic and co-curricular activities. - Handle behavioral concerns with sensitivity and implement child-friendly discipline methods. - Ensure safety and well-being of children at all times, both inside classrooms and during school activities. Parent & Community Engagement: - Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, events, and school updates. - Organize parent-teacher meetings, orientations, and workshops. - Address parent queries and concerns promptly and professionally. Administrative & Operational Duties: - Oversee attendance, timetables, and daily schedules. - Ensure proper maintenance of classrooms, teaching aids, and resources. - Plan and execute school events (Annual Day, Sports Day, Festivals, Assemblies, etc.) - Maintain records and submit periodic reports to the Principal/Director. Qualification Required: - Strong leadership and organizational skills. - Excellent communication (English fluency essential). - Empathy, patience, and understanding of early childhood psychology. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage staff efficiently. - Strong decision-making and conflict-resolution skills.
