Job Description (JD) for a Transport KAM (Key Account Manager) : Position: Transport KAM (Key Account Manager) Location: RUDRAPUR, UTTARAKHAND Department: Transport / Logistics Reporting To: Transport Head / Operations Manager Key Responsibilities: Manage and maintain relationships with key transport clients to ensure high satisfaction and repeat business. Handle client queries, complaints, and service requests promptly and professionally. Coordinate with operations, fleet, and dispatch teams to ensure timely deliveries and transport operations as per client expectations. Ensure all transport services are compliant with client contracts, SLAs, and operational standards. Maintain detailed records of client requirements, transport movements, billing, and service performance. Proactively identify new business opportunities within existing accounts and coordinate with the sales team. Negotiate and renew client contracts and agreements in coordination with management. Monitor transport performance reports, analyze service gaps, and suggest corrective measures. Coordinate transport invoicing, collections, and resolve billing discrepancies with the accounts team. Ensure proper communication between the company, drivers, and clients. Skills and Qualifications: Graduate in Logistics, Business Management, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in transport operations or client account management. Strong knowledge of transport operations, fleet management, and logistics processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and transport management systems. Strong problem-solving attitude and ability to handle operational challenges. Key Competencies: Client-centric approach. Strong coordination and organizational skills. Analytical mindset with attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
