Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging Kannada lessons for higher school students, following the ICSE curriculum. Develop and implement lesson plans that cover Kannada grammar, literature, composition, and language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking). Encourage active student participation in class activities, discussions, and language exercises to enhance their Kannada proficiency. Assess and monitor students progress through assignments, tests, projects, and oral presentations. Provide constructive feedback to students and help them improve their language skills. Introduce students to Kannada literature, including poetry, prose, and cultural aspects of the language. Organize extracurricular activities related to Kannada, such as cultural events, language clubs, and storytelling sessions. Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress to students and parents regularly. Stay updated on teaching methodologies and incorporate modern techniques to enhance the learning experience. Collaborate with other teachers to develop integrated teaching strategies and promote the importance of language learning. Ensure a positive, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment for all students. Required Qualifications and Skills: B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) degree from a recognized institution (Mandatory). A degree in Kannada or a related field. Previous experience in teaching Kannada at the higher school level (ICSE curriculum) is preferred. Strong command of the Kannada language (written and spoken). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to inspire students to appreciate and excel in the Kannada language and culture.
