In this role, you will work on diverse client projects across industries such as oil & gas, chemicals, power, water treatment, and manufacturing. You will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and optimizing process systems to meet client needs while ensuring compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and review process design deliverables such as PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, and equipment specifications. Conduct process simulations and calculations using industry-standard software. Support feasibility studies, detailed engineering, and commissioning activities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation engineers. Provide technical support during procurement, construction, and startup phases. Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and other process safety reviews. Ensure all designs and processes comply with client standards, codes, and applicable regulations. Interface directly with clients to understand requirements and present technical solutions. Qualifications Bachelors degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering (or equivalent). 3-7 years of experience in process engineering, preferably in an engineering consulting or EPC environment. Familiarity with international codes and standards Proficient in process simulation and design. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills Experience working on multi-client or multi-sector projects. Exposure to project documentation control systems and quality assurance procedures. Sr. Piping Draftsman Job Overview A Piping Draftsman is a skilled professional responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans for piping systems. These drawings are used for manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of piping systems across industries like oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, construction, water treatment, and more. Job Description Developing piping design drawings, including plans, sections, isometric views, and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) using AutoCAD, or other design software. Create and modify piping models in 3D software (e.g., PDMS, E3D, or Plant 3D) as per project requirements. Minimize fabrication cost through optimization of pipe and cable tray routing. Follow international standards and project specifications. Review design drawings for accuracy and adherence to project and industry standards (ASME, ANSI, etc.). Support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonable as draftsman. Skill / Tools Knowledge Required Produce and ensure quality and consistency of common piping deliverables including; P&IDs, Isometrics, Piping GA's, Tie-In Details and Plot Plans. AutoCAD is mandatory. Basic understanding of Fabrication detailed drawing, equipment layouts, civil layout is must. Must be familiar with the requirements of Oil & Gas drawings and piping specifications, including normal symbology, industry standards (e.g., ASME, ANSI) and the requirement for consistency. Experience in 3D Cad software such as PDMS, E3D or Plant 3D will be considered as an asset. Strong attention to detail with excellent drafting and drawing skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices. Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
