Junior WordPress/PHP Developer

Role Overview: You are a candidate with at least 1 year of experience, seeking a full-time position in Mohali with intermediate WordPress knowledge. You aspire to create web experiences that people love. Your expertise lies in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript. You have a solid understanding of WordPress at an intermediate level. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and develop basic- and intermediate-level client projects using custom WordPress theme, third-party plugins, and page-builders. - Acquire advanced skills in developing WordPress themes, plugins, custom page-builder blocks, WooCommerce extensions, and custom solutions. - Learn advanced PHP, JavaScript, and SCSS. - Provide regular updates to team leader and stakeholders regarding daily tasks. - Utilize project management tools for effective communication within the team. - Lead projects from inception to completion through collaboration with all stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, Ajax, PHP, and intermediate knowledge of WordPress including template files, queries, loops, custom post types, custom fields/meta boxes, widgets, shortcodes, custom themes, and plugins. - Strong presentation skills and confidence when engaging with stakeholders of all levels. - Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute as needed. - Strong problem-solving skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks. - Moderate proficiency in design and prototyping tools like Adobe Xd, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
