Junior WordPress developer

Job description

We are looking for a Junior WordPress Developer who specializes in custom theme development and plugin creation. You will work closely with senior developers, designers, and content teams to create responsive, user-friendly, and high-performance web experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and customizing WordPress themes and plugins.
• Build responsive website layouts using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Support maintenance, updates, and performance optimization of existing WordPress sites.
• Troubleshoot website issues, including plugin conflicts, layout bugs, and server errors.
• Implement SEO best practices and ensure website speed optimization.
• Work with designers to convert Figma/PSD/wireframes into functional WordPress pages.
• Assist in website migration, backups, and deployment.
• Ensure proper documentation of code, features, and updates.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of WordPress CMS, including custom themes and plugins.
• Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and basic PHP.
• Knowledge of Git or version control is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow best practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
