Junior Technical Officer / Technical Officer - MRI (Imaging, Radiology)

As an MRI Technologist at our company, your role involves patient identification before the procedure and explaining the various protocols and procedural details to them. You will ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors who come in contact with the powerful magnetic field of the MRI scanner. Your responsibilities include explaining procedures, answering patients" questions, providing emotional support, and positioning patients and coils on a table that slides inside the MRI scanner. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain contrast media rate as per the procedural requirement - Set appropriate technical parameters, operate MRI scanners and related equipment, and observe image data on computer monitors during scans - Check all patient data and information on the request form before the procedure - Get the consent form signed from the patient in case of contrast MRI - Maintain records such as patients" reports, outsourced tests, stock register, quality control, equipment log, etc. - Follow all safety procedures for yourself, patients, and machinery - Program the machine to the proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time as dictated by the physician - Monitor the patient's condition before and after the scan to ensure their safety and comfort - Instruct the patient about the preparation for the MRI test - Maintain patient log, equipment service manual, delivery schedule, and all related statistics - Calibrate the MRI machine on a daily basis - Perform quality assurance checks on equipment and procedure areas routinely - Prepare and position the patient for the procedure using established MRI protocols to achieve the highest quality image - Ensure cleanliness and standard temperature of the MRI procedure room - Assist in maintaining supply inventory and participate in ongoing service and process improvement efforts Qualifications Required: - HSC / Graduation / Diploma / Degree in MRI Technology - 2 - 10 years of experience in a relevant field - Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy of the head, thorax, and abdomen, physiology, MRI terminology, practices, and procedures - Familiarity with specific MRI coding systems - Responsible for enforcing magnetic field safety for MRI patients, operators, and visitors - Ability to handle and operate the MRI machine effectively Join us and be a part of our Quality Improvement Initiative and protocols of the organization.,
