You will be responsible for patient identification before the procedure and explaining the various protocols and procedural details to the patient. It is crucial to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors who come in contact with the powerful magnetic field of an MRI scanner. Your role will involve explaining procedures, answering patients" questions, providing emotional support, and positioning patients and coils on a table that slides inside the MRI scanner. You must maintain the contrast media rate as per the procedural requirement, set appropriate technical parameters, operate MRI scanners and related equipment, and observe image data on computer monitors during scans. Additionally, you will be responsible for checking all patient data and information on the request form before the procedure and ensuring patient entry in the Hospital Information System (HIS). Obtaining consent forms signed from patients in case of contrast MRI, maintaining all records such as patients reports, outsourced tests, stock register, quality control, equipment log, etc., and following all safety procedures for yourself, patients, and machinery are essential aspects of this role. You should be able to program the machine to the proper voltage, current, and desired exposure time as dictated by the physician and monitor the patient's condition before and after the scan to ensure patient safety and comfort. Your responsibilities will also include positioning and instructing patients about the preparation for the MRI test, having knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy of the head, thorax, and abdomen, physiology, MRI terminology, practices, and procedures, and being familiar with specific MRI coding systems. Enforcing magnetic field safety for MRI patients, operators, and visitors, maintaining patient logs, equipment service manuals, delivery schedules, and all related statistics, taking the scan properly, making films appropriately, handling and operating the MRI machine, calibrating the MRI machine on a daily basis, and performing quality assurance checks on equipment and procedure areas are part of your duties. You will operate the required equipment necessary to produce scans using established guidelines and MRI protocols, prepare and position patients for the procedure by using established MRI protocols to achieve the highest quality image, ensure cleanliness and standard temperature of the MRI procedure room, assist in maintaining supply inventory, and participate in ongoing service and process improvement efforts. Additionally, you will be expected to be part of the Quality Improvement Initiative and protocols of the organization.,

In your day-to-day tasks, you will be responsible for organizing daily activities based on the urgency of requests for fluid samples, identifying patients accurately, determining the appropriate venipuncture method based on factors like patient age and health, reassuring and comforting patients, locating suitable veins for puncture, drawing blood using sterile equipment, ensuring the quality and quantity of samples, labeling samples correctly for testing, addressing patient inquiries, maintaining accurate records of specimens and tests, adhering to health and safety standards, and assisting with blood transfusions when necessary. The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician, proficiency in effective puncture techniques, understanding of proper patient identification methods, knowledge of legal requirements related to blood drawing and sample handling, familiarity with medical equipment usage, computer literacy for data entry, excellent communication skills, keen attention to detail, ability to connect with diverse patient demographics, patience, presence of mind, and a diploma in Phlebotomy or relevant on-the-job training. Certification in this field would be an added advantage. This position offers a variety of job types including Full-time, Part-time, Fresher, Internship, and Freelance, with a contract length of 12 months.
