Junior Technical Officer / Technical Officer (EEG / EMG Technician)

Role Overview: You will be responsible for operating electromyography equipment to test the electrical activity of muscle disease or denervation. Your role involves determining the conduction velocity and latency times of peripheral motor and sensory nerves, as well as assisting physicians in performing advanced electromyography techniques for specific neurological diseases. Additionally, you will confer with patients to gather medical history, explain procedures, allay fears, and ensure cooperation. Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyze patient history to determine the appropriate test procedures - Assist in scheduling patients for EMG testing - Perform SSEP monitoring in the OT - Prepare patients for electromyography procedure by applying electrodes to the proper positions on the body - Adjust electrodes as required - Perform routine and complex EEG procedures to obtain data for diagnosing nervous system disorders - Report tracings to the Neurologist - Assist with scheduling patients for EEG - Assist in EEG monitoring in the OT - Conduct EEGs in ICU, ICCU & PICU Qualifications Required: - Bachelor of Science (B.
