Junior Specialist- Accounts Receivable

As a Junior Specialist in Accounts Receivable at Springer Nature, you will be part of a team responsible for cash allocations and accounting. Your main role will involve handling various processes within cash allocation, ensuring efficient management and resolution of tasks in a timely and professional manner. It is essential to have a detailed understanding of the Order to Cash/Accounts Receivable processes in an international environment and be available to work in European shift timings (12.30 pm IST to 21.30 pm IST). **Role Responsibilities:** - Work as an Accounts Receivable agent, focusing on cash allocation activities as a first-level support. - Perform manual postings as requested and maintain communication with the AR team at Springer Nature. - Create or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process log updates. - Process bank statements and clear unallocated cash while following up for remittance advice. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and share innovative ideas. - Handle ad-hoc requests effectively. **Experience, Skills & Qualifications:** - Graduation in Commerce is a must. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable within an international setting. - Proficiency in English, both verbal and written. - Experience with SAP, preferably S4Hana. - Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask. - Proficient in MS Office suite - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. - Knowledge of Excel Automation like VBA/Macro creation is an added advantage.
