Junior Software Engineer

Role Overview: You will be part of a team responsible for creating an internal platform to streamline data-heavy engineering workflows using AI-assisted services. Your role will involve designing, coding, deploying, and iterating features to automate manual efforts for engineering and project management teams. The work is hands-on and highly autonomous. Key Responsibilities: - Prototype and deploy large-language-model services for document parsing, validation, and natural-language Q&A. - Build Python micro-services to convert unstructured project files into structured stores and trigger downstream calculation tools. - Connect calendars, project-tracking portals, and document libraries via REST / Graph APIs and event streams. - Containerize workloads, write CI/CD pipelines, codify infrastructure, and manage runtime costs. - Maintain tests, logging, RBAC, encryption, and safe-prompt patterns for quality and security. - Document designs, demo working proofs to stakeholders, and coach colleagues on AI-assisted development practices. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 3+ years in Python. - Proven track record in shipping AI / NLP / LLM solutions. - Practical DevOps skills with Docker, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and at least one major cloud platform. - Experience integrating external SDKs or vendor APIs, preferably in engineering, GIS, or document management domains. - Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently from loosely defined requirements.
