Junior Software Engineer

Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC) Write well-designed, testable code Integrate software components into a fully functional software system Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures Document and maintain software functionality Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems Comply with project plans and industry standards Ensure software is updated with latest features. A self-starter in data engineering practices, with a focus on scalability, security, and automation. Collaborative and skilled in working in a team environment, particularly in Agile settings. A quick learner and an innovator, capable of evaluating emerging technologies and adapting them to meet project needs. Passionate about data engineering and eager to learn while driving high-impact projects. Required skills: Hands on coding python experience Hands on SQL experience (data transformations and not just CRUD operations) Experience of working with Data processing pipeline (ETL) Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Experience of working with Jira or similar Experience of working with Bitbucket/Git Good to have: Hands on coding experience with dbt Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines Knowledge of data modelling and statistics.
