Junior Software Automation Engineer

As a Junior Software Automation Engineer at Cognyte, you will play a crucial role in developing state-of-the-art security technologies that contribute to making the world a safer and more secure place. You will be part of a cross-functional high performing agile automation development team, collaborating closely with global teams to solve challenging problems. Your responsibilities will include: - Functioning as a major part of a cross-functional high performing agile automation development team. - Being responsible for all automation development and spec writing to support the system automation tests lifecycle. - Collaborating closely with global development and QA teams to identify and solve challenging problems. Qualifications required for this role include: - BSc in Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent. - 1+ years hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Java. - Experience with REST and SOAP web services APIs. - Experience with automation development processes and tools. - Experience with source control systems such as GIT and SVN. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively. Having the following experience would be considered an advantage: - Experience with microservices and containers such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker. - Experience with building automation scripts in Java/Linux environments. - Experience with C#/.NET development.
