Junior Software Automation Engineer

Cognyte is seeking an accomplished and passionate Junior Software Automation Engineer to join their cyber intelligence team in India. The selected candidate will have an opportunity to participate in developing state-of-the-art security technologies and benefit from high-level involvement in major projects that significantly contribute to making the world safer and more secure. As a Cognyter, you will function as a major part of a cross-functional high-performing agile automation development team. You will be responsible for all automation development and spec writing to support the system automation tests lifecycle. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with global development and QA teams to identify and solve challenging problems. Requirements: - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent. - At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Angular, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Java. - Experience with REST and SOAP web services APIs. - Familiarity with automation development processes and tools. - Proficiency in source control systems such as GIT and SVN. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Would be considered an advantage: - Experience with microservices and containers such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker. - Experience with building automation scripts in Java/Linux environments. - Experience with C#/.NET development.,
