Job Summary

The Junior SEO and Content Optimizer will support the digital marketing efforts by executing SEO strategies, optimizing website content for search engines, and enhancing online visibility for the college and school websites. This role involves keyword research, content optimization, and monitoring SEO performance under the guidance of senior marketing professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and high-value keywords for website and content optimization.

• Optimize on-page elements including meta titles, descriptions, headings, and internal links.

• Assist in writing SEO-friendly and engaging content for web pages, blogs, and social media platforms.

• Monitor website traffic, search rankings, and other SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console.

• Report on SEO performance and suggest improvements to drive organic traffic growth.

• Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketers to ensure SEO best practices are implemented.

• Stay updated on the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and digital marketing techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

• 1 to 3 years of experience in SEO, content optimization, or digital marketing roles.

• Basic understanding of SEO principles and tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or similar.

• Good writing skills with attention to detail and ability to optimize content for search engines.

Skills and Competencies

• Proactive with a keen interest in SEO and digital marketing.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret SEO data.

• Good communication and teamwork ability.

• Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic HTML/CSS is a plus.
