Position Overview:

Junior Scientist / Research Associate

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and optimize

  CRISPR-based diagnostic assays

  for pathogen and AMR detection.
• Develop, standardize, and validate molecular assays including

  PCR, qPCR, and LAMP

  .
• Support assay conceptualization, troubleshooting, and workflow optimization.
• Execute molecular biology and CRISPR-based diagnostic experiments with precision.
• Conduct assay validation studies for

  sensitivity, specificity, and reproducibility

  .
• Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment as required.
• Ensure adherence to laboratory

  quality control

  and operational standards.
• Prepare and maintain

  SOPs, technical documentation, and experimental records

  .
• Ensure compliance with

  Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  and best laboratory practices.
• Contribute to preparation of

  regulatory documents

  , including validation and compliance reports.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. or Masters degree in

  Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related discipline

  .

• 23 years of hands-on experience

  in molecular biology techniques.
• Strong expertise in

  PCR, qPCR, and nucleic acid amplification methods

  .
• Proven experience in

  experimental optimization and troubleshooting

  .

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with

  CRISPR-based systems

  and/or molecular cloning.
• Background in

  diagnostic kit development

  , assay validation, or translational diagnostics.
• Familiarity with

  bioinformatics tools for CRISPR design

  .
• Exposure to

  microfluidics, point-of-care devices, or infectious disease diagnostics

  .
• Experience working with

  Quality Management Systems (QMS)

  .
• Publication(s) in relevant scientific areas.
