Junior Research Fellow

Job Description

Immediately hiring a Junior Research Fellow funded by Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF) at the Department of Applied Mechanics, IIT Delhi. The candidate should have a background and deep interest in fluid mechanics. This is a one-year position with salary and benefits similar to those of a PhD student. Housing rent allowance is provided. The position is extendable by two more years, with the last year being as a Senior Research Fellow (SRF). With mutual agreement, there can be a component of remote work. The successful candidate will work on developing an understanding of turbulence transition and will have enough opportunities to set their direction of research within the broader goals of the project.
