Role Description This is an on-site, full-time role for a Junior Research Fellow at North-Eastern Hill University in Meghalaya, India. The Junior Research Fellow will be responsible for conducting research in any one areas of (i) Silicon Photonics, Photonic Integrated Circuits, (ii)Optical Communication, (iv) Advanced Modulation Formats, (iv) Optical Amplifiers etc. . Additionally, the role involves assisting in preparing manuscripts for publication and presenting findings at conferences. Qualifications Strong Research and Data Analysis skills Report Preparation and Manuscript Writing Skills Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills Ability to work independently Experience with academic software/tools relevant to the research field (e.g., statistical analysis software, laboratory equipment) Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., ECE, Optical, Micro-Electronics) Knowledge of subject matter pertinent to the research project Experience with fieldwork (if applicable to the research project) is a plus Capability to present research findings at conferences
