Job Overview

As a

Junior QA Engineer

, you will work closely with product managers, developers, and senior QA engineers to test and validate critical features in a fast-paced and highly regulated environment. You ll be responsible for writing and executing manual and automated test cases, primarily using Python-based tools, to ensure our applications meet high standards for quality, accuracy, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Write and maintain automated test scripts using Python (PyTest, Selenium, etc.)
Execute functional, regression, and integration tests for web and mobile platforms
Validate financial transactions, calculations, and workflows
Work closely with developers and business analysts to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria
Identify and document bugs, and verify fixes
Participate in test planning, sprint reviews, and product demos

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
Strong understanding of Python and its use in testing (e.g., PyTest, unit testing, data validation)
Familiarity with QA methodologies and tools (manual + automated)
Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred (Nice to Have):

Experience with Selenium, Playwright, or API testing (e.g., Postman, requests, REST APIs)
Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., ADO, Jira)
Knowledge of SQL and experience validating data across systems
Exposure to Agile methodologies and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
