Job Description

Junior Python Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
Build and enhance automation frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
Work with testing tools and frameworks such as PyTest, Selenium, Robot Framework, or similar.
Collaborate with QA and development teams to understand requirements and create robust test scenarios.
Conduct root cause analysis for test failures and report defects with clear documentation.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
Perform API, UI, and backend automation testing as needed.
Ensure test coverage, reliability, and overall quality of the automation suite.
Maintain documentation for automation scripts, frameworks, and test reports.

Required Skills & Experience

3-5 years of experience in
QA Automation
with strong
Python coding skills
.
Hands-on experience with automation
testing frameworks
(PyTest, Selenium, Robot Framework, Behave, etc.).
Strong understanding of software testing concepts, SDLC, and STLC.
Experience with version control tools such as Git.
Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.) is a plus.
Familiarity with CI/CD environments and DevOps practices.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Graduate from IIT, NIT, or any recognized institution with strong academic credentials.
Experience in performance testing or security testing (nice to have).
Exposure to cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
