As a Junior Pattern Maker at Fittora, a Luxury-Tech Fashion Startup redefining fashion through the fusion of AI precision and artisanal tailoring, your role will involve supporting the development of accurate garment patterns to ensure the perfect fit, style, and finish. Key Responsibilities: - Create basic garment patterns, either manually or using CAD software, based on provided measurements and design specifications. - Prepare paper or digital patterns for sample development. - Assist in fabric laying and cutting processes with meticulous attention to detail to minimize wastage. - Participate in fit trials and make necessary adjustments as needed. - Identify any fabric issues or inconsistencies during cutting and laying procedures. - Collaborate closely with stitching teams to comprehend the flow of garment construction. - Maintain proper documentation and storage of patterns for future reference. Skills & Qualifications: - Diploma/Degree in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, or a related field. - Basic knowledge of pattern drafting, garment construction, and fabric behavior. - Familiarity with manual pattern making; experience with CAD software is advantageous. - Strong attention to detail, precision, and accuracy. - Ability to follow instructions diligently and complete assigned tasks responsibly. - Interest in working with Western silhouettes for both menswear and womenswear. - Enthusiastic, adaptable, and open to continuous learning.
