Job Description

You will be responsible for carrying out various engineering tasks to ensure that the systems meet safety standards. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing and checking instruments loop diagrams - Evaluating technical bids and making recommendations for all instruments and control systems - Demonstrating detailed knowledge of the operation and maintenance of various types of instruments such as level transmitters, flow transmitters, pressure transmitters, gas detectors, and analyzers - Identifying and maintaining critical spares for plant operation - Commissioning instruments and control systems as per OEM guidelines - Working on and repairing various types of valves and their actuators - Having knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS (MODIFICATIONS AND PROGRAMMING), preferably of Allen Bradley and Delta V Emerson - Understanding of CEMS system and hook up with GPCB/CPCB - Creating instrument index, I/O schedules, logic diagrams, cable schedules, and instrument datasheets using specialized software - Handling control system deliverables, such as telecommunication system specifications and system block diagrams Qualifications required for this role include: - Understanding of Mechanical Engineering and Safety Standards - Problem-solving abilities - Attention to detail and hands-on experience FMC is dedicated to providing innovative solutions that help farmers increase productivity and resilience in their land.
